Student Accomplishments
The following accomplishments are solely due to the hard work of each student. Each understands the keys to improvement and work diligently at bettering their mechanics and playing skills. The most successful players enjoy practicing and playing and understand that there will be better days than others. When their swing is “off” on a particular day they realize the increased importance of game management and can rely on a solid short game to carry them through their round.
- Work with the players on the University of Denver Women’s team who are ranked nationally within the Top #10 in the country.
- Junior with Three consecutive FCWT wins
- FCWT named student the East Region Player of the Year
- FCWT National Championship Winner
- Junior qualifies for US Junior Girls in Tacoma, WA
- 3 junior golfers qualify for Junior Optimist at PGA National
- 3 juniors qualify for Junior World in San Diego, CA
- Junior student wins US Kids in St. Louis to qualify for US Kids National
- 2 US Kids World Qualifier
- 2nd place at CJGA stroke play championship
- Junior exemption to play in PGA Westfield
- Winner of local Big I qualifier with a 66
- Professional golfer Ben Portie: T6 at Colorado Open
- Amateur/collegiate player makes it to Final 32 at the Women’s Pub Links Championship

- Sun Belt Conference champs for the third year in a row University of Denver Women’s Golf; Katie Kempter tied for 1st and two players awarded all-conference honors
- Eight students participated in the U.S. Open local qualifier

- Two of the three boys to qualify for the Boys Junior Optimist

- Professional Ben Portie makes the cut at the PGA Tour’s Chrysler Classic of Tucson
- Consecutive Sun Belt Conference Champions: DU Women’s Golf
- Nine boys in the CJGA Stroke Play Championship
- Four of the eight boys in the CJGA’s Quarterfinals of Match Play are Trent’s students. Being paired against each other two advanced to the Semifinals.
- Winner of Denver Amateur tournament
- Winner of Girls FCWT (Future Collegians World Tour) tournament
- FCWT All-American
- Winner of the local Westfield PGA Qualifier
- 12th Place finish at the Westfield PGA national tournament in Ohio
- Both the father and son who took 1st Place at the CGA’s Father/Son Championship are Trent’s students winning by 8 shots
- Junior America’s Cup selected two of Trent’s students (one male and one female)
- Two of the four boys to qualify for the national Big I at Purdue
- Top 20 finish at the national Big I
- One female student qualified for the national Big I tournament by winning the local qualifier
- One female student qualified for the Junior Optimist by winning the local qualifier
- Winner of the Callaway PGA Junior Series tournament at Penn State
- All-Colorado Honorable Mention
- Many personal bests including a 65 from Greeley local and high school freshman Brandon Tomasovich
- 1st Place at this year’s Drive-Chip-Putt contest at Lone Tree
- Multiple participants and winners of Colorado Golf Association events
- Four players in the Championship Flight of this year’s CWGA Match Play Championship
- Two All-Conference & All-Academic Division I collegiate golfers
- Over 10 All-Conference high school golfers in 2005
- The lone recipient of the Pike’s Peak Junior Golf Scholarship for college
- National Golf Coaches Association named a student to the Division I All-American Scholar Team which has some of the most stringent selection criteria
