Short Game Handicap Test

We all know that you have a handicap for your overall game but it is not specific enough to know how you perform in each aspect of your game. This Short Game Handicap Test will give you invaluable information about the state of your short game and putting. You will receive a handicap number for each of the following: short putts, long putts, chipping, pitching, bunker play and wedge shots as well as an overall handicap number for your entire short game.

We get very specific with this test in that we document the distance away that each shot ends from the hole. This is calculated as an average and also displayed in your summary sheet containing your handicap numbers that will be emailed to you. We also look for trends to see, if for instance, your first shot is always the worst or if you always tend to miss in one location. This info will also be listed in your emailed summary. All of this detailed information will better help you know what exactly needs to be practiced.

Here’s how it works: You take a short game test administered by a staff member which takes about an hour. After you complete the test, Trent Wearner will personally be given your results and Trent will do the calculations to come up with a handicap for each area of your short game. You will then be emailed your results including trends, average leave from the hole and your handicap for each of these areas. It is a great way to get a better look at these individual areas and you’ll probably find it to be an eye-opening experience.
