Trent Wearner Junior Golf is the most sought-after junior instruction in the region. Whether you’re looking for private instruction or very small-sized golf schools, your junior golfer will have an experience more beneficial to his or her game than ever imagined.

It is the all-encompassing philosophy of improving a junior’s mechanics, attitude, mental game, on-course skills and practice time that has helped so many young golfers excel and increasingly enjoy the game. It is this well-balanced philosophy and Trent’s ability to instill confidence in his students that has propelled these juniors to a new level. He has taught three high school state champions including the 2005-06 Boys’ 4A Individual State Champion and the 2005-06 Girls’ 4A Individual State Champion. He also teaches three of the four boys who won the team title from Greeley Central as well as two of the four girls on the winning team from Kent Denver, also from the 2005-06 golf season.

A number of his junior students are highly ranked nationally but Trent knows that it’s not just about being at the top. Each junior has different goals and abilities. Some just want to enjoy the game more, some are striving to make their high school golf team, others want to play college golf and others are striving to make a mark on a national level. Trent recognizes this and matches the instruction and information to each junior helping them achieve their goals. There are so many positive attributes that can be learned from the game of golf regardless of one’s ability that participation at any level impacts the student’s game both on and off the course.

Trent teaches all levels and ages of junior golfers starting at age 8. Students will go away from each lesson or golf school with a clear understanding of what to improve on and how best to work on it, all while having fun. Junior Private Instruction
Private instruction is available for every aspect of the game. The facility with its private tee, short game areas, putting greens, multiple bunkers and regulation length 3-hole practice course is sure to complement the attention and quality instruction you are guaranteed to receive. Computer/video analysis is also included. A minimal offer of only one or two different lesson packages doesn’t fit the requirements of most golfers; therefore we offer a number of packages that are sure to match your needs, desires and golf budget. A larger offering of packages allows student and teacher to get specific about the number of lessons it will take to address the individually based subject matter.

Taking instruction with a friend can be a great experience and is more economical as well. The column on the right titled '2 Students' contains the total price. Dividing that number by two will give you the reduced rate each student would pay.

Junior Golf Schools

Trent Wearner Golf offers several golf schools through the course of the summer. Each group will consist of no more than three juniors! Having such small groups is unheard of when it comes to golf schools and especially juniors. These schools are a great way to get a blend of mechanical improvements, on-course skills and mental habits as well as learning how to practice properly. Come take instruction from Denver’s only teacher rated as a Top 20 Teacher Under 40 in America and who is also ranked as a Top 50 Kids Teacher in U.S.!

This full day golf school will be taught by Trent Wearner and will cover every aspect of your game from putting to the driver and every shot in between. Within each area, you’ll come away with sound mechanics and better practice techniques that resemble playing on the course. The proven processes of Trent Wearner Golf will elevate your ball striking ability, improve your direction and trajectory and lower your scores. You will receive a copy of the book Golf Scrimmages which Trent authored, a comprehensive Mental Golf Profile, a Game Improvement Guide, video swing analysis including photos of your swing and a take-home CD, refreshments and lunch with Trent.

Full Swing School with Trent Wearner

This full swing school will allow you to improve your technique and practice time.  You’ll have a better understanding of your own swing and will be on the path to lower scores and more consistency. A personalized and prioritized plan of what to work on as well as drills of how to best work on your swing improvements will be clearly laid out. A Game Improvement Guide along with video swing analysis, photos, notes and a personalized swing CD are yours to take home.

Short Game School with Trent Wearner

Tackle the greens and short game with friends:

Our 4 hour short game schools cover all the shots needed around the green and include putting, chipping, pitching, bunker play and specialty shots. Personally sound mechanics that will hold up under pressure and practice techniques that will carry your game to the course will be acquired. You’ll learn new shots as well as an improved putting stroke that will certainly increase your skills on and around the green.  A Game Improvement Guide is included for note taking and future reference as well as a copy of the book Golf Scrimmages.

Playing Lesson School with Trent Wearner

Bring a friend and learn on-course tactics together:
2-people $225 each

This 3-hour playing school includes learning to prepare, warm-up and stretch for a round in addition to increasing your playing skills. You’ll play approximately 9-holes where a comprehensive approach to strategy, game management, risk-reward analysis and mental techniques will be thoroughly discussed. You will receive a Game Improvement Guide and have a clear understanding of how to think and play better golf.

Summer Golf Program with Staff Professional
1-person $700
Enjoy the summer program with a friend or two:
2-people $550 each
3-people $475 each
This summer long junior program, taught by staff professionals, lasts for six weeks and meets every Tuesday from 10am to 12noon. Every aspect of the game will be covered during this program. Instruction will take place on the private lesson tee, short game area, putting greens and also on the 3-hole practice course.
