| Being a teacher who uses few training aids, I get excited when I come across one that is exceptionally worthwhile. This is one of those devices. There are lots of training aids on the market – putting arcs, straight edges, angled planes and many others. The truth of the matter is those types of putting aids are built for one plane and that plane may not match your putter’s shaft plane plus they only work your putter’s plane or path when your putter’s club face can also cause misdirected putts. This laser device, which clips easily onto the shaft, proves that your putter’s shaft is being swung perfectly and therefore that your putter’s head is moving on the correct path for how your putter is built. The line also lets you know when your putter’s face is square, open or closed unlike a spot or dot laser. Also unlike other putting aids, because there are no physical guides keeping you in place, this one makes YOU perform the stroke giving you a much higher probability of ingraining a consistent motion.
