Outdoor Learning Environment
One of the areas that make up this remarkable facility is the private lesson tee where student and teacher can work in an environment comfortable for the student. It provides ample space to learn and feel at ease.
There are five short game greens at the Meridian Golf Learning Center. Two designated just for putting and three others for chipping, pitching and bunker play. A bunker for working on fairway bunker shots also makes up this comprehensive facility.
Additionally and very unique to many golf academies is the three-hole practice course. These three holes consist of two par 3s ranging from 135yds to 220yds as well as a narrow par 4. Mounding, uneven lies, a water hazard that comes into play, bunkers, rough and other realistic situations round out this course. On top of the 18-hole Jack Nicklaus Signature designed golf course, this is a superb place for on-course instruction. Practice uneven lies, work on game management, hone your routine and any other imaginable shot can be worked on here without time limits to complete each hole.
Indoor Center
Another unique aspect to the Meridian Golf Learning Center is the indoor facility. A couple of large hitting bays and the ability to hit from inside the studio out onto the range where one can witness the flight of the ball and stay warm or dry from any inclement weather make instruction possible year round.
Video Analysis
We use the state-of-the-art computer/video analysis called V1 Professional. Visuals like computer analysis can be an important component to learning. The versatility to the program and capturing that we use allows video to be taken of any part of your game.
