He has also taught clinics with Mike and Sandy LaBauve who are also Top 100 Teachers in the nation. Through the gratifying experience as the assistant coach for the University of Denver women’s golf team, his knowledge and insight into college golf helps him guide his young students through the college golf process.
Trent teaches more than swing mechanics. His students are well-rounded players who have come to realize the importance of a great attitude, a strong mental game, sound on-course habits and strategic game management. Having balance in all aspects of your game is important and should go further than a solid short game, putting game and full swing. Expanding this balance into sound mechanics, solid on-course skills and mental habits, as well as learning how to practice properly is what has helped his students excel and propel their game to a new level. This flexible philosophy addresses the needs and desires of each student as Trent adapts to each one’s learning style. This individuality and attention to one’s overall game along with his ability to communicate on a level clear and understandable is what has made Trent Wearner Golf the most outstanding instruction in the region.
